DREAMWEAVING FINAL LIVE ON WEBSITE

DREAMWEAVER YEARS

From 2016 - 2018 I was the Dreamweaver at Eleven Madison Park. As the Dreamweaver, I created curated art experiences (by hand) for guests in the restaurant. From idea to execution, the role required creative brainstorming, problem solving, and a range of skills to bring these experiences to life. These experiences ranged from bespoke physical art pieces to full scale installations (such as pop-up Prom or a cat cafe).

Below you will find some examples of these curated objects.

Han Solo In Carbonite

The force was with these guests who made several Star War references and one in particular about Han Solo’s being frozen in carbonite.

During their kitchen tour, we surprised them with custom glasses featuring Han Solo “frozen” in them.

The Wicked Witch Is Dead

This guest was celebrating their 20th work anniversary. We were informed that this guest’s favorite phrase was, “the wicked witch is dead.”

Inspired by the scene from “The Wizard of Oz”, we created the house that rid Oz of the Wicked Witch. The roof opened and contained the first course.

Engagement Lighthouse

These guests were celebrating their wedding anniversary. We were able to find the exact lighthouse on the South Carolina coast and create a paper replica. The red roof of the front structure was detachable, and we placed a blue ring pop inside as a playful homage the couple’s sapphire engagement ring.

Harold At Eleven Madison Park

These guests were celebrating their mother’s birthday and shared that she was a retired teacher whose favorite book was, “Harold and the Purple Crayon”. We decided to recreate the book but themed after Eleven Madison Park and the tasting menu.

The card folded out to reveal a continuous purple drawing of their 11 course meal that evening.
